Recent Project Wins

The company is nearing completion of the first two units in a multi-unit development in town and has recently begun a large renovation project in the heart of Swan Hill. 
Progress on the renovation will be shared publicly through the company’s social media channels. 


Looking further ahead, 2027 is shaping up to be fully booked, with a number of substantial projects currently in the pricing stage.

Team Expansion

Halligan Construction has grown its workforce in the last six months. The team has added another qualified tradesperson and two first-year apprentices. Its original apprentice has also recently qualified.

The current lineup includes three qualified tradespeople, apprentices, Brenton himself, and one administrative staff member in the office.

Local Market Shifts

In Swan Hill, demand patterns have shifted. Enquiries for smaller houses have slowed considerably, with most pricing requests now focused on larger homes. Brenton attributed this trend in part to inflationary pressures, which appear to be limiting the ability of average wage earners to proceed with new builds.

Technology on Site

To improve efficiency and communication, the company has introduced three iPads for its work crews. These devices give tradespeople and subcontractors immediate access to plans, engineering details, and other project information while on site.

Focus on Continuous Improvement

For Brenton, the most rewarding aspect of the past six months has been the ongoing refinement of internal systems. This work aims to deliver stronger products and a higher standard of service to clients.

With a commercial licence now in hand, active projects progressing, and a strong forward pipeline, Halligan Construction is well positioned for continued growth in the regional construction sector.
